In partnership with the Precourt Institute for Energy and the SLAC-Stanford Battery Center, we are excited to invite you to the STEER Launch Workshop on November 1st, 2023.
The objective of STEER is to guide “What to Build” by quantitatively predicting technology curves for energy technologies – starting with energy storage. Using systems analysis and learning curves to address critical questions around various technology sets, we seek to enable all of us to make better technology bets – as researchers, entrepreneurs, executives, investors, government agencies, and policymakers.
To properly develop the inherently complex questions for STEER to address, we are convening an industry group with unprecedented breadth and depth in the same room to debate, brainstorm, and challenge conventional thinking. So join us as we bring together companies from every value chain vertical – from mining to device technologies, from utilities to investors, and across all stages of growth – from startup ventures to late-stage corporations.
The STEER Launch Workshop will assemble panels designed to foster lively debate around technology bets across short-duration, diurnal, multi-day, and beyond electrochemical storage technologies. Specifically chosen to crosscut value chain verticals and growth stages, the panels will present a rare opportunity to witness unlikely round tables with tremendous diversity of thought. Engage in post-panel debriefs with one of the most unique collections of industry players that are bound to produce productive collisions.
Come prepared to engage, question, and participate in the exhilarating launch of a brand-new program designed to break traditional barriers. The complexities of the questions we seek to answer require all of our participation, and we look forward to seeing you there!
