STEER is pleased to host an inaugural Commercialization Forum focused on Sodium-ion batteries.
A partnership between the SLAC-Stanford Battery Center and the Stanford Precourt Institute for Energy, STEER is guiding “What to Build” by working backward from TWh-deployment and quantitatively predicting technoeconomic viability for future energy technologies.
This year, STEER is flipping things around and piloting a new Forum format engaging industry, academia, and government. To foster greater dialogue between the three key sectors, STEER will:
1. Publish a preprint of its technoeconomic analysis research work
2. Invite feedback from leading industry players
3. Host a forum to discuss substantive challenges and opportunities
Join us as we bring together:
Industry players: Na-ion startups, Li-ion incumbents, and companies across the value chain
Market intelligence: Market intelligence firms with insights into supply chain and market growth
Venture capital: Investors in the hard-tech space focused on climate making strategic bets
Government: Key stakeholders in the Department of Energy
Academia: Stanford researchers bringing innovations from lab to pre-commercial stage
