Steven Kaye

Dr. Steven Kaye, Chief Technology Officer at ONE, is an experienced leader in the areas of battery technology and R&D. He has worked as Vice President of Engineering at Refractal, lead materials R&D for batteries as part of Apple Special Projects Group and was Chief Scientific Officer at Wildcat Discovery Technologies. Dr. Kaye has developed breakthrough battery technologies and collaborated on 60+ R&D projects with large material suppliers, device manufacturers, and OEMs.

Dr. Kaye earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from UC-Berkeley and holds more than 60 patents covering a variety of battery-related innovations including cathode, anode, electrolyte, cell architecture, and pack designs.
