PhD student, Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources (E-IPER)
KC McKanna is a third-year PhD student in the Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources, where she applies perspectives from both economics and social psychology to the study of energy and water management policy. The majority of her work employs experimental techniques to evaluate different approaches to encourage more sustainable resource consumption.
KC holds a BA in environmental economics and policy from UC Berkeley and a MPP from UCLA. Prior to her PhD, she worked with local governments to establish solar and energy efficiency financing programs.
