Aravind Retna Kumar worked as a Research Associate with SFI in the area of system transformation and integration. His research focus was on topics such as industrial policy development for the energy storage industry in India and understanding the role of policy in enabling energy storage deployment. Before joining Stanford University, he worked in the energy industry for about 6 years in various roles such as Market Research Analyst for Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems and Design Engineer for GE Power.
Aravind has completed his M.S. in Energy Science, Technology and Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra.
