The SUN Project
The Stanford University Nuclear (SUN) Project aims to advance our understanding of matter in extreme conditions to bring resilient nuclear fission and fusion energy toward commercialization by sparking radical interactions between science, engineering, policy, and economic experts, as well as training the next generation of leaders and a growing workforce. We will reach our mission by supporting research and education to enable sustainable, intense, and safe nuclear energy to power modern civilization. Please join us as we build the SUN Project and scale the potential of our most extreme energy sources—in time to make a difference.
