BEAM engages with students to help them design their career pathways, venture into new opportunities, and pursue their job search. Handshake is BEAM's online platform that provides Stanford students with opportunities, connections, events, and content related to their career aspirations and interests. Employers also access Handshake to post positions, create events, and connect with students.
Cardinal Careers can prepare you to begin your post-Stanford career serving the public good. Networking with government and nonprofit organizations, applying for post-graduation public service fellowships, attending workshops and events—whatever your needs, you can find Cardinal Careers opportunities, advising, and resources to help you on your way.
The Stanford Energy Club is a student organization whose mission is to become the energy leaders of tomorrow. They have a job board for energy and sustainability-related jobs that is managed by BEAM on Handshake.
The Sustainability Career Landscape is a list of established and early stage companies at the nexus of energy, food, water, and the environment.
SPIE is an alumni organization that aims to build on Stanford’s leadership in energy research by providing a platform for real-world professional development and engagement. SPIE is open to all Stanford alumni.
SAM is a database of over 3,500 alumni from a wide-range of backgrounds. You can connect with alumni based on your needs (job shadowing, mock interviewing, etc.) and join mentorship groups.
