The Sustainable Finance and Investment Seminar (CEE 157/257), led by Soh Young In, is a 1-unit course which aims to equip the Stanford community with the knowledge and networks required to undertake significant future work on sustainable finance and investment. The class explores multiple disciplines of sustainable finance, featuring talks by Stanford faculty and guest speakers. The course is open to students, faculty, and staff in the Stanford community. CEE 157/257 meets every Thursday from 2:45 - 3:45 pm PST (with noted exceptions) during fall quarter (Remote: Synchronous). Students may enroll for credit.
Speaker Info: Dr. Carter Casady is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at UCL's Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction and a non-resident Senior Fellow at George Mason University's Schar School of Policy and Government. He will be talking about his latest publication entitled "Vanguard Projects as Intermediation Spaces in Sustainability Transitions."
