Speaker: Dr. Ines Azevedo
Seminar Abstract: Dr. Azevedo will provide an introduction to research being done at Stanford and the Smart grid ecosystem in general.
Speaker Bio: Dr. Azevedo is passionate about solving problems that include environmental, technical, economic, and policy issues, where traditional engineering approaches play an important role but cannot provide a complete answer. In particular, she is interested in assessing how energy systems are likely to evolve, which requires comprehensive knowledge of the technologies that can address future energy needs and the decision-making process followed by various agents in the economy.
Admission Info: Seminar is open to all Stanford students, faculty, and staff. Students enrolled in "CEE 272T/EE 292T: SmartGrids and Advanced Power Systems Seminar" will attend the event in person. All others, please register to attend on Zoom via the RSVP link.
