Speaker: Lena Perkins

Seminar Abstract: Lena Perkins will discuss strategies for making decarbonization equitable and address the load shape and diversity required to reach full electrification as we strive for cost-effective decarbonization.

Speaker Bio: Lena Perkins manages the Program for Emerging Technologies at the City of Palo Alto Utilities. She previously worked on microgrids in Alaska and Samoa. Lena earned her PhD in mechanical engineering from Stanford.
