Julie is the Climate Change Strategy Manager for Chevron and is based in San Ramon, California. She is responsible for climate change impact analysis, carbon price forecasting and is the main author of the Climate Change Resilience Reports. Julie joined Chevron in 2008 after completing her MBA at the University of Southern California and working in trading and for the government. She earned her BA in Spanish at UC Davis.
John White is the General Manager, Energy Transitions for Chevron. He leads a team responsible for guiding climate and energy transitions direction and activities, setting enterprize wide climate policies and positions, and represents Chevron on the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative Executive Committee. Prior to his current appointment, since 2015, he served as the Vice President, Strategy, Planning and Commercial for Chevron’s Indonesia Business Unit, including managing Chevron’s 45% interest in Malampaya upstream gas production in the Philippines. He also served as the President Director of PT MCTN (Chevron’s 300 MW co-generation) operations in Sumatra, Indonesia. During his 19-year career with Chevron, he has held technical and leadership positions in Singapore, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, United Kingdom, and the United States. Born in Sydney, Australia, he holds a degree in Commerce from the University of Sydney, Australia.
